We were standing outside in formation (ROTC), and I was the ROTC sponsor who stood right in front of him. He was doing maneuvers with his rifle, just as they were commanding him. I kept whispering to him, Wayne, let me see your rifle. He kept saying no, I'll get in trouble, But, I was very persistent and he was just trying to please. He finally gave me his rifle and his commanding officer busted him immediately. They didn't do anything to me.

I've always felt terrible about this and I apologize.
