I am Jimmy Burk from Class of '69.
My family in Frayser consisted of 4 brothers (Steve, Randy, Ray and Tim) and
one sister Carol D. Burk.
I didn't have a 1969 Annual, and was able to borrow one from my sister-in-law, Gloria (Simmons) Burk.
I decided to put it on a CD and thought others might also want a copy to peruse. It is designed to work on Microsofts Internet Explorer Browser 4, but will also work with Netscape 6.
Feel free to copy this CD and give to other classmates, or just copy to their hard drive.

Hope you are doing well, staying healthy and getting wiser.
I graduated from Uof Memphis with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1974.
I was an Engineer at Burroughs Corporation, and DCC-Cylix Corp and have been
at Fedex for past 22 years. If you see Fedex trucks running around,,the computer
and wireless systems in them were
designed by me.
I am currently the VP of Technology Systems for Fedex based in Memphis and
work on IT, Telecom and Research projects. I married Stephanie(Harrington)
Burk from Cordova in 1975 and have two
grown sons. Josh(25) graduated in EE from UofM and played on the tennis team.
He is currently an Engineer/programmer at Fedex. Jonathan (21) is a Jr at
CBU in IT Systems, and also works at Fedex as a systems administrator. I manage
about 400 Technology people at Fedex in what is called Fedex IT Services.
I developed, programmed and managed various departments from wireless systems,
to Network and Telecommunications, Software development, LineHaul, AirOps
and Hub Sortation Info Systems, Research and Development departments and Technology
Architecture.
I attend Cordova Baptist Church in Cordova.

Collierville(graduated Skyview)
Tim Burk is a police officer with the City of Memphis and lives in Memphis(graduated
Skyview)
My father, Jimmie Burk passed away several years ago, and my Mother, Helen, now lives in Bartlett.
**Note--There were two Carol Burk's and two Steve Burk's at Frayser in the 1960's..
